Product Description It's not mean - it's a Softie...the more durable muzzle on the market. The Softie Muzzle has a special insert of welded fishnet plastic mesh. Allows dogs to breathe normally, while restricting unwanted behavior such as biting and chewing. Can be worn during play and exercise. Muzzle slips on quickly, snaps closed and has an adjustable, woven nylon strap. Tough, washable cordura nylon resists tears and punctures, yet feels comfortable to the dog. Softie Muzzles are available in sizes to fit the breeds and similar sized dogs listed below: Small (Miniature poodle, Sheltie, Bichon Frise, Miniature schnauzer, Yorkies, etc.) Medium (Fox Terrier, Beagle, Lhasa Apso, Westie, Jack Russell, Dachshund, etc.) Large (Cocker Spaniel, Boston Terrier, Bull Terrier, Border Collie, Springers, etc.) Extra Large (Husky, Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever, Setters, Doberman etc.) Giant (Great Dane, Newfoundland, Great Pyreness, St. Bernard, etc.) Please use the following as a guide to help you select the proper fit for you dog: Muzzle Size Circumference1 Width2 Length3 Neck Strap4 Small8"2"3 1/4"Adjusts 10"-22" Medium9 1/2"2 1/4"4 1/2"Adjusts 13 1/2"-22 1/2" Large10 1/2"2 3/8"5 1/4"Adjusts 15"-26 1/2" Extra Large12 1/2"3"5 1/2"Adjusts 12"-31" Giant16 1/2"4"7 1/2"Adjusts 21"-33" 1 Circumference: Measure the circumference midway between the tip of the nose and eyes. | Customer Reviews:
great muzzle January 18, 2008 We have a neighbor who insists on leaving garbage outside, unprotected. The soft muzzle enables us to let our lab run free without fear of her getting into that garbage - and not obstructing her ability to breath
Problem solved July 16, 2007 We have 2 year old twins and were having problems with our dog stealing their food. We tried keeping the dog locked up when we ate but he would bark. He has having a diffcult time adjusting to his new postion in the family. He has never been aggresive but his food stealing behavior had increased and the twins were such an easy target. This muzzle allows him to still be around the family at meal time. He does not bark but he can not steal food. It is soft and comfortable. It has really solved our problem.
