1 out of 5 stars Didn't fit my toilet seat   October 8, 2008

The litter kwitter is supposed to fit on most toilet seats, but it didn't fit on mine, so I don't really know how well it works. The instructional video that comes with it make the process seem fairly easy. However, it doesn't talk about using a special litter. Inevitably some litter will get into the toilet during the training process and regular clumping litter can't be good for the plumbing. So if your cat is very picky about which litter is used, this could be a problem for you.

5 out of 5 stars I recommend if you hate litter   September 19, 2008

We have three cats who all use this litter kwitter on one toilet seat. we are on phase one and it is working fine. a little messy , but in the end it will be worth it.

3 out of 5 stars Buyer beware   September 17, 2008

This product is pretty much what it says it is except that it does NOT fit every toilet and it is does NOT offer adequate stages to help your cat adjust to using the toilet. The reason people keep talking about having to go backwards from the amber insert to red insert is because there should be at least one additional insert that you use in between. I just moved from red to amber and got rewarded with cat poo on the floor near the toilet. So I just figured out that I could fill the hole with a 16 oz. plastic tub (like a butter tub). That way the cats don't feel so freaked out by the giant hole that suddenly appeared in their litter box. One of my cats fell in and I'll tell you, that will set back the process! I guess my biggest complaint is that these four plastic pieces made in China are $60 bucks. What rip! But at the same time, if in the end we can train them to use the toilet, I guess it will all have been worth it. If we can't, I'm going to be mad that I spent so much money on plastic crap from China.
