I purchased this gate to keep my two exploring cats out of my newborn's room. The gate installed quite easily into the door way in less the 10 minutes, with no tools needed. It works extremely well for the nursery because the gate opens 180 degrees, 90 in either direction, so it is easy to use while hold my daughter. The gate has a handle (which can be clearly seen in the stock photo) that makes opening and closing the gate a breeze. The only problem that I have had with this gate is that the handle has popped apart on me a few times in the short period I have owned the gate. It was a simple fix of removing 3 screws and popping everything back together, so I added a couple of drops of super glue to hold it tight. It seems to have done the trick, but it was still annoying. Overall the perfect gate for what I was looking for, but the handle issue dropped it to a 4.

I have purchased a total of six of these gates over the past 6 years. The first one I bought 6 years ago is still in mint condition and should last a lifetime. I have multiple pets in the house and these gates are durable and pit bull resistant. The only additional thing I do to secure the gates is drill a screw into the base plates to prevent slipping. Although it states no tools required, I do this because the dogs I have are massive and extremely strong. For smaller animals this may not be necessary. The company is awesome to work with. One gate arrived with the metal handle broken because of the shipping and the company has shipped out a replacement handle free of charge. Same thing for the base plates which were damaged by my repairman. The order price was considerably below the purchase price here locally. The shipping was prompt and arrived in a matter of days. Thank you 4 paws.

I have a 6-year-old autistic boy who's getting over the standard-sized gates. This gate's tall height (41") and more difficult handle work great (but not too hard - my 3-year-old typical child can still work the handle without a problem). Hopefully, this will buy us another year, until he gets even taller! Easy to install; can easily drill through the mounting caps to lock into the door frame more securely.

The service was fast and accurate. The walk thru dog gate was easy to install and serves its purpose quite well. I saved quite a bit of money by purchasing this product on line versus what the local stores were asking for this product.
