 Warning - this isn't your PBS Cartoon July 13, 2007

My son loves Clifford the Big Red Dog and enjoys the PBS cartoons. We watched the Really Big Movie on a family trip. My 2-year-old burst out crying when Clifford was kidnapped and in danger of being hurt by multitudes of lassoing cowboys. This might be a better movie for an older child.

This is a great movie if your children love Clifford. I recommend buying this one for your collection, especially since it was John's last movie. Taking Clifford to the big screen and not destroying the integrity of the Clifford story is a triumph for the filmmakers. Clifford's Really Big Movie

Very cute movie with a good story line and moral.
My kids have watched this many, many times.
Has "catchy" songs for the kids to sing along with.
I have recommended this movie to other Moms to purchase.

Clifford's Really Big Movie is an enjoyable DVD that the whole family can view together. Children will be thoroughly entertained, while parents can appreciate the quality writing and production and values presented in the movie for their children. Count me among Clifford's BIG fans.

The great thing about this "movie version" is that all the original voices of Clifford (John Ritter), Emily Elizabeth, Cleo, and T-Bone are exactly the same as the Clifford episodes on TV. Basically, it is a longer version of a regular Clifford episode but they've added a few new friends and some songs here and there. Speaking of, the songs are actually upbeat and a bit catchy. But NOT so catchy to where I find the tunes stuck in my head for hours........unlike some other kid movies (i.e. - Thomas the Tank Engine) where they play the same droning chorus over and over and over again. This movie is a great compromise because my 2 and a 1/2 year old son LOVES it, and after watching it with him numerous times now, I still like it too.
